Netflix, Microsoft, Akamai, Harmonic, Qualcomm and Ericsson Discuss The New HTTP Standard, MPEG-DASH
The recently developed MPEG-DASH provides a standard specification for multimedia streaming over the Internet and is at the heart of the future growth of the online video industry. At the Streaming Media West show, on November 8-9 in LA, (#smwest) we have executives from Netflix, Microsoft, Akamai, Harmonic, Qualcomm and Ericsson who will present an overview of what the MPEG-DASH standard is.
